Learner Achievements
Sakina Dube from Umlazi graduated with a Diploma in ECD in 2009. With assistance from ECD Afrika she has built a new classroom & ablution block. One of her care givers is now being trained and now has 76 children in her preschool.eCD Afrika Mission
To train qualified and committed ECD educators in the Montessori philosophy and to assist them in establishing quality preschools in their communities, where they will establish in the preschool learners the foundation for the emergence of young adults who will ultimately contribute to the growth and development of their countries.
Montessori Philosophy
The Montessori philosophy of education is applicable to ALL children of ALL communities and should not be a haven for only the wealthy. There is no difference in the potential of children, whether they originate from a privileged or an unprivileged community.

We have done it again! On Sunday, 26th February the eCD Afrika Foundation carried out an experiment in building a model of a play component that contributes to an ideal outdoor playspace at the Wonderkids 2 premises. With true team spirit, the parents and kids of our school successfully built the play area in less than two hours. Greatest Thanks to all those who joined in to help!!!We were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the Wonderkids volunteers – mothers and fathers of the school and students from the IDB Students Association (ISA) outshone themselves with their ready to work attitude.
